Another great skimboarding competition in Victoria this past weekend (July 19th, 2008). Lots of great riders, great music, great food and good times! We at SkimBC.com are still waiting on the official contest results from the guys at Switch Boardshop... If anyone has information on the 18 and Under and Women's contest results please e-mail them to b_dub@skimbc.com so that we can get these results up asap!
Near the end of the event a trimaran boat pulled into Gonzales Beach and on this boat was the band Brave New Wave who put on an amazing show for the rest of the day! It was certainly one of the most memorable skimboarding competitions to date!
